The first thing you need to do is find the right foundation. If you have dry skin, look for a foundation that will hydrate your skin and give it a healthy glow. If you have oily skin, look for a foundation that will control oil and help keep your makeup in place. Once you’ve found the right foundation, apply it evenly to your face with a brush or sponge.
Next, it’s time to apply some concealer. If you have dark circles under your eyes or blemishes that you want to cover up, use a concealer that is one shade lighter than your skin tone. Apply the concealer in a small triangle shape under your eyes and blend it outwards. Then use a small brush or your finger to apply the concealer to any blemishes. Blend the concealer into your skin so that it is barely noticeable.
Now it’s time to add some color to your face! For a natural look, use a bronzer or blush that is close to your natural skin tone. If you want a more dramatic look, choose a brighter shade of blush or bronzer. Apply the color to the apples of your cheeks and blend it upwards towards your hairline.
Once you’ve added some color to your face, it’s time to move on to your eyes. First, apply a primer all over your lid to help make your eyeshadow last longer. Then, using an eyeshadow brush, apply a light shade of shadow all over your lid up to your brow bone. Next, choose a medium shade of shadow and apply it to your crease. Using a back-and-forth motion, blend the shadow into your crease. Finally, use a dark shade of shadow to define your outer V. To finish off your eye makeup, add some mascara and eyeliner.
Last but not least, don’t forget to fill in your eyebrows! This will help frame your face and make your eyes pop. Use an eyebrow pencil or powder that is close to your natural hair color to fill in any sparse areas. Then comb through your eyebrows with a spoolie brush to blend the product and create a natural look.
