19th century seal stamp
19th Century wax seal stamp with engraving of a womans head in blue glass.
The stamps are already centuries old, from far before Christ. Made of all kinds
of materials for the arristocratie, masters etc. etc. far into the twentieth century.
I've seen the same glass seal stamp on an American metal detecting website.
It was maybe one Dutch immigrants item that these people brought into the United
States at the 19th Century.
Dimension: 1.5 x 1.5 cm.
Period: 19th century.
